Re-descoperim Clujul este al doilea proiect de anvergură al Asociației Vechiul Cluj. Împreuna cu domnul Vladimir-Alexandru Bogosavlievici, am încercat să sintetizam în acest volum informațiile din cele șase tururi ale centrului orașului, care s-au desfășurat în vara anului 2016.

Ne dorim ca în viitor să continuăm acest proiect și cu străzile din afara incintei de 45 ha. Cele șase tururi s-au bucurat de un succes neașteptat încă de la primul, ceea ce ne dă speranțe cu privire la continuarea, în anul următor, a acestui proiect. (Sebastian-Iacob Moga)

Re-discovering Cluj is the second keynote project that Vechiul Cluj Association developed. Together with Vladimir-Alexandru Bogosavlievici, we have tried to synthetize in this volume the information from the six guided city tours that occurred in the summer of 2016.

We wish to continue in the future this project with the streets outside the 45 ha area. The six tours were a great success even from the beginning, fact that encourages us even more to continue, in the years to come, this project. (Sebastian-Iacob Moga)

Istoria Clujului poate fi descifrată nu doar în arhive și biblioteci, ci și pe străzile acestui oraș, prin vizitarea și studierea monumentelor sale. Pentru aceasta, ghidul realizat de profesorul Vladimir-Alexandru Bogosavlievici ne oferă un ajutor neprețuit. The history of Cluj can be revealed not only in archive collections and libraries, but in the streets of the city thanks to visiting and studying its monuments. This is the main reason why professor Vladimir-Alexandru Bogosavlievici has offered us a valuable help. Asociația Vechiul Cluj a avut inspirația de a iniția un proiect civic, care are ca scop major cunoașterea orașului în aspecte mai puțin știute. Tururile ghidate de mine s-au pliat pe această idee, de a oferi participanților o istorie plimbată și reconfortantă a Clujului. Am prezentat într-un scurt rezumat traseele parcurse cu grupurile de participanți, insistând asupra obiectivelor istorice mai importante din vechiul Cluj, incinta de 45 ha care era delimitată de zidurile de apărare și străzile adiacente. Old Cluj Association has launcheda civic project which mainly aims at becoming familiar with aspects of the city which are not so well-known. In the guided tours I have carried out I had the idea to offer the participants history while walking leisurely in Cluj. I have presented the walk routes I had with the groups of participants, insisting on the important tourist attractions in old Cluj, the enclosure of 45 ha which was surrounded by the defense walls and the adjacent streets.
